What an amazing little shop! I branched out and got the chicken, cranberry & Brie pie. Absolutely delicious!! Super fresh pastry and filling was perfectly balanced.

I had the plum sauce and duck pie. My partner got the award winning mince and cheese pie. OMG, they were absolutely incredible! Best pie that I've ever had. Staff are very friendly too.

Tasty Cafe & Bakery in Avondale is a popular eatery that I've often visited in the last few years. The overall impression I get is that this is a great place to buy food from or dine in with family and friends. The array of pies the bakery creates is unique and never disappoints! I went for the new Cambodian fish curry pie and hot chips and it was a great combo! The pie pastry is always on point, the curry flavour infused with lemongrass (I think) is unique and flavoursome and the hoki fish melts in your mouth! Also the hot chips were crispy and tasty! Great pie and hot chips and I'll be back again for more!

This local bakery is family owned. The staff are wonderful. Polite and always smiling. The food is good, with the usual bakery delites, especially the steak and cheese pies, which I think are fantastic! If you are in the area, stop in for a great coffee and pie. You won't be disappointed

We popped in for an afternoon pie time to try out the bakery’s award winning pies. Tried the classic mince and cheese and potato top pies and they were delicious! Will be back to try their other Pie Award winning pies. The prices are reasonable given how they have fared at the Pie Awards. There’s limited seating at the venue.
